It’s your chance to Win £75 shopping vouchers

1. The competition

Win £75 of supermarket vouchers! This competition is for our customers to share their recipes with us. We are looking for one recipe each month to demonstrate how our customers like to eat our pasteurised crab meat. You are welcome to submit cold or hot recipes, starters or main courses. The choice is up to you… All we ask is that the recipe is as unique as possible.

No following someone else’s printed or published material please we want this to be your own adaption! Our chefs and management will be on the look-out for original tasty looking dishes.

How to enter

1. Itemise out the shopping list for your recipe and outline how many people it would feed for example:

• 120g mange tout
• 100g Ocean Finest crab meat
• 5g tomato sauce
• overall recipe for 2 people (double quantities for 4)

Remember to photograph ingredients or list them and then detail step by step instructions on how to re-create your meal. Be ready to post these details to our social pages as a list, or a photograph if you have written or typed them out

2. Photograph or video the end plate of food or the whole recipe process (see notes above). It’s up to you, we are more than happy with a good mobile phone photograph (you don’t need a fancy camera) But, if you fancy yourself as a demo chef entertaining an audience, then please feel free to share a video of your cooking creativity. Just a tip.. Keep it short and clear plus remember to show your ingredients with the weights required. Have a look at our videos on Facebook for Inspiration.

2. THE PRIZE

£75 store vouchers for either Sainsburys, Morrisons, or Booths which can be redeemed as part of a weekly shop at any of their supermarkets. No cash alternative will be offered

3. ELIGIBILITY

a. Purchase is necessary
(please retain your supermarket receipt as proof of purchase) – this will act as your entry ticket to the competition and if you win will be exchanged for supermarket vouchers!
This competition is open to UK (England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland) residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry, excluding employees of the promoter and their immediate families, the promoter’s agents, third parties, or any other person professionally connected with the promotion.
b. Only 1 entry per person per month.
c. No third-party or bulk entries.
d. Acting dishonestly, fraudulently, or otherwise in violation of these terms, such entrant will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.
e. You must not be employed or previously employed as a professional chef.

5. THE PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

The promotional period will begin at 00:01 on 1st December 2022 (the “Opening Date”) and will end at 23:59 on 31st July 2023 (the “Closing Date”). Our draws will take place on the last day of the month starting on 31st December 2022. All entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified. 1 Winning Competition Entry will be selected each month unless there are so few entries to make a competition pointless.

We reserve the right to withdraw this competition if the public interest is minimal or for any reason involving ‘Force Majeure’
such as a natural disaster prohibiting the sale of crab meat, acts of war, terrorism or threats of terrorism, civil disorder, labor strikes or disruptions, fire, disease, or medical epidemics or outbreaks.

7. WINNER SELECTION

Our management panel will judge the competition and reserve the right to final decision.
In the event that no one enters at the winning moment, that prize will remain available until the next entry.

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION

8.1 The winners will be notified via Facebook message or email if entry is by email.
8.2 It is the winner’s responsibility to provide their correct, up-to-date details for delivery of their supermarket vouchers
8.3 Winners are asked to take part in reasonable publicity without payment. Such publicity may include, without limitation, using a winner’s name and, if relevant, their image or video material and any statements made by them concerning the Promotion and the prizes won as part of the Promotion. The Promoter will not use an entrant’s personal data, such as name and address for publicity purposes, without the entrant’s consent.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

9.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate entrants for any losses that may be incurred as a result of entering the competition.

10. DATA PROTECTION

10.1 Any personal information that entrants share with the Promoter will be kept secure and only used in line with these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter’s privacy policy. By entering the promotion, entrants agree that their information may be used by the Promoter to administer the promotion. Entrants’ personal data will be used and will be held in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which is available here.

11. GENERAL

11.1 Promoter’s decision is final and binding in relation to all matters relating to the Promotion. No correspondence will be entered into.
